Working
for Movie Ventures, an Amsterdam-based commercial production company,
Crooked River shot footage for "Art Gallery", in which a simple
Dutchman attends a sophisticated gallery opening in New York. Directed
by Manu Coëman of Movie Ventures and lensed by noted cinematographer
Howard Atherton, BSC, the job involved locating a 10,000 square foot empty
commercial space adjacent to a busy Manhattan avenue, then converting
it into an art gallery by filling it with 55 trendy-looking actors and
quirky artwork.
