History Channel - Job Description

Promax Award Image

History Channel LogoRecipient of a PROMAX Gold Award for Consumer Promotion Campaign, this promo for the History Channel's "Live Like A King" sweepstakes was shot on location in Las Vegas. Writer and director Bruce Koken devised a clever script imagining a convention of the fictional "Pharaoh Association of America".  Filmed at the Egyptian-themed Luxor Hotel, a total of 60 cast members were dressed in period wardrobe by stylist Bobette Cohen, using costumes pulled from rental houses throughout the United States.

"Brian and I have worked on award winning spots that wouldn’t have been award winning had it not been for his dedication, commitment and creativity. His preparation and focus always remind me of why I choose his company for production service work.  A smooth running shoot requires people who are quick, smart and cool under pressure. Brian not only has these vital traits but he also makes sure that the people he hires have them. It all translates into an environment of trust and quality throughout the entire production process."
